Eternal God, in Jesus Christ your light shines in our darkness, bringing joy to our sorrow and presence to our loneliness. We pray for all who are homesick, missing friends and family. We pray for those who are ill and for those who are grieving a loss. Comfort us during these long nights of winter and lead us into the light of day.
